Allah says in the Quran “Indeed, Allah showers His blessings upon the Prophet, and His angels pray for him. O  believers! Invoke Allah’s blessings upon him, and salute him with worthy greetings of peace”. The Dala’il Khairat is a means of fulfilling this divine command and sunnah of God.  

It is a compilation of salutations upon the beloved ﷺ that is widely commemorated around the world. It was composed by a Moroccan scholar of prophetic descent called Imam Muhammad Ibn Sulayman Al-Jazuli. 

It is narrated that he went to perform his ablutions at a nearby well but could not find any means to draw the water up. A young girl saw him and called out, ”You’re the one people praise so much, and you can’t even figure out how to get water out of a well?“ So she came to the well and spat into the water, which welled up until it overflowed and spilled across the ground. Imam al Jazuli made his ablutions, and then turned to her and said, ”Tell me how you reached this rank.“ She said, ”By saying the Blessings upon him whom beasts lovingly followed as he walked through the wilds (Allah bless him and give him peace).“ Imam al Jazuli then vowed to compose the book of salutations upon the beloved ﷺ. 

The Dala’il khayrat is arranged in daily sections so it is completed on a weekly basis. It is known to be a means of being infused with the love of the beloved ﷺ, drawing closer to Allah, purification, illumination, fulfilment of needs, removal of difficulties and opening doors of all goodness.

This particular edition is pocket size and also contains the Burdah of Imam Busairi.
